Claim a Federal Tax Credit for up to
$500 on your 2006 or 2007 return.
Replace existing windows and doors with qualifying products between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2007. See Manufacturer’s Certification Statement for qualifying products.
Save your purchase record, all NFRC/ENERGYSTAR product performance labels or Manufacturer’s Certification Statement with your tax records.
Claim tax credit in the year of your purchase and installation.
Tax credit is for product only, not installation.
Tax credit is for 10% of purchase of windows/skylights up to $200.
Tax credit is for 10% of purchase of doors up to $500, if windows/skylights not used.
Tax credit total can not exceed $500 for all home improvement projects combined during the two year period of the tax credit.
Projects include: windows, doors, roofing, insulation, heating and cooling equipment.
